Remember how everyone secretly believed they were the Carrie Bradshaw of their circle? With Valentines days fast approaching, it probably is best you deem your single self as Carrie versus fang face Miranda. Bad teeth and anger issues aside, Miranda just wasn’t sending out the good vibes. Sure, sure....sometimes things magically work out (like on TV for instance), but in real life the odds of meeting the love of your life on line have got to be better when you like who you are and where you are going...and you convey that. Looking at online profiles might initially lure you into thinking that everyone out there has a “passion for life” because so many people include this exact or like phrase in describing themselves or their dream partner. Uhhhh...passion for life? If your dating profile includes this phrase...revise it. Right now. I mean it. And about those “long walks on the beach” and “listening to the rain” comments....come on! How frequently do you really do any of these things?
